CHICAGO – “Bite Size Broadway” returns to The Annoyance Theatre’s Main Stage after a wildly successful extended spring run with a full sized revival.
Join the talented cast and writers of Bite Size Broadway for a manic paced evening of miniature musicals! Ruth Lloyd Webber (no relation) has been struggling for thirty years to throw her hat in the actor’s ring. Without a single acting credit to her infamous (no relation) name, Webber wrote eight mini musicals in the hopes of finally making her acting debut. None of them longer than 15 minutes, none of them shorter than 15 seconds. Six fantastic performers bring the comedic, inventive, never-before-seen productions to life in one spectacular hour of singing, dancing and jazz hands.
The cast of Bite Size Broadway have individually authored and performed in many projects around Chicago including performances and works at The Goodman Theatre, Chicago’s Sketchfest, iO, The Crowd, Stage 773, the Second City Training Center and, of course, The Annoyance Theatre. The cast is under the keen and hilarious direction of Charley Carroll, Managing Director of The Annoyance. “Bite Size Broadway” is under the musical direction of Heidi Joosten and the choreography of Lily Staski.
