Arlington Heights, Ill – Lisa Rock and Sari Greenberg perform iconic songs from the 80s in Girls Just Want to Have Fun at Metropolis Performing Arts Centre November 19, 2016.
The 1980s were all about glam, big hair, bright colors and totally rad pop music. Now, singer-songwriters Lisa Rock (lead singer of the nationally touring Close to You: The Music of the Carpenters) and Sari Greenberg (lead singer of the nationally touring Bad Romance) have compiled an homage to the unforgettable, sing-and-dance-along songs of the 80s. You’ll hear songs from Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, Pat Benatar, Michael Jackson, Culture Club, Duran Duran, Prince and all the iconic bands of the 80s, plus some fun new twists on favorite 80s tunes. Get out your hair spray, neon shirt and that one white glove and get ready for a night of fun – 80s style!
