Kristin Chenoweth appears at Chicago Theatre in October

Emmy and Tony Award winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth, takes the lead in a career that spans film, television, voiceover and stage effortlessly. She is most remembered by Broadway lovers for her origination of the role Glinda the Good Witch in the musical Wicked, which earned her a Tony Award Nomination, and her Tony-winning performance as Sally Brown in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown.

Chenoweth has paved her way from musical theater to television, appearing as a guest judge on hit shows such as “American Idol” and “Project Runway.” She is additionally recognized for acting as Annabeth Schott in “The West Wing”, and most recently as April Rhodes in “GLEE,” where she was nominated for two Emmy Awards. Chenoweth was also honored with an Emmy Award as Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on the ABC show “Pushing Daisies,” where she was cast as Olive Snook. Her film credits include Bewitched, The Pink Panther, Running With Scissors, Stranger Than Fiction, Four Christmases, RV and the upcoming films Ed Zwick’s Family Weekend and Outrun.

Produced in Nashville, the country pop album Some Lessons Learned is Chenoweth’s fourth album. Her debut album, Let Yourself Go, was released in 2001 and was followed by As I Am, an album of Christian music, in 2005. Her holiday album, A Lovely Way To Spend Christmas, was released in 2008. On stage, she has performed songs from her latest album as well as some of her most memorable songs from Broadway’s Wicked, Promises Promises, and her performances on “GLEE.”
