The Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, is excited to announce it will host We Three, A Concert Fundraiser in Memory of Rachel Rockwell on September 17th 7:30 p.m.
The concert will feature the stars of The Marriott Theatre’s critically acclaimed production of Mamma Mia!, Meghan Murphy, Cassie Slater and Danni Smith. The trio will reunite for an unforgettable evening of hilarious tales, wicked harmonies, and brassy trios.
Directed by Ericka Mak, the fundraiser will honor Director and Choreographer Rachel Rockwell, who dies this may at age 49 from Ovarian Cancer.
Rockwell’s productions at The Marriott Theatre included Mamma Mia!, October Sky, Seussical, The Wizard of Oz, among others. Her work also included the world premiere of Ride the Cyclone at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Brigadoon at Goodman Theatre and many other musicals at Drury Lane Oakbrook and The Paramount Theatre.
This not-to-miss event will be an evening of big voices and big laughs with a mix of pop, rock, and R&B with a hint of musical theatre and a splash of ABBA.
