Arlington Heights, IL – Join O Sole Trio as they lead you on a journey of show-stopping show tunes, performed in their signature “Poperatic” style, with Bravissimo Broadway at Metropolis August 27, 2017.
O Sole Trio’s acclaimed show, Bravissimo Broadway, takes you on an exhilarating 70+ year journey through some of the best show-stopping show tunes from classic Broadway musicals, performed in O Sole Trio’s signature “Poperatic” style and with their breathtaking and incomparable arrangements. Audiences will thrill to hear great crowd-pleasing numbers like “Luck Be A Lady” from Guys and Dolls, “Let Me Entertain You” from Gypsy, “Too Darn Hot” from Kiss Me Kate and “I Could Have Danced All Night” from My Fair Lady. And they will melt when they hear timeless favorites like “Edelweiss” from The Sound of Music, “Sunrise, Sunset” from Fiddler on the Roof, “Memory” from Cats, “The Impossible Dream” from Man of La Mancha and “Some Enchanted Evening” from South Pacific.
Creative mashups include: a pairing of two songs from Ghost – “Unchained Melody” from the famous movie with “With You” from the Broadway show; and a powerful pairing of “Vesti la Guibba” from Pagliacci with “Send in the Clowns” from A Little Night Music. These pop and opera fusions that gives the paired songs a much deeper emotional impact and create truly beautiful, heartbreaking moments. There are also clever medleys from perennial favorites like West Side Story and Les Misérables, which give the audience a chance to hear the best from these musicals in a condensed format, with wonderful new harmonies and interweaving melodies from each show.

O Sole Trio: Bravissimo Broadway is part of the Live Music Series at Metropolis, which brings some of the highest level musical talent to the Chicagoland area.
