Palatine’s Fremont Street Theatre announces auditions for summer production of ‘Legally Blonde’

A fabulously fun award-winning musical based on the adored movie, Legally Blonde The Musical, follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. Action-packed and exploding with memorable songs and dynamic dances!

AUDITION NOTICE
The BroadwayWorld Chicago Award-Winning Fremont Street Theater Company is excited to announce auditions for LEGALLY BLONDE, THE MUSICAL.
Auditions are scheduled for
Monday, June 17, and
Tuesday, June 18, 2019, 6:30 – 10 p.m.
Callbacks, by invitation, on June 19, 7-10 p.m.
Audition location at Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center,
 150 E. Wood Street, Palatine.
Auditions are for ages 16 and up. You must be 16 years old by the date of the auditions. Looking to cast experienced musical theater actors and dancers.

 

SYNOPSIS:
 Elle Woods appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside down when her boyfriend Warner dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle ingeniously charms her way into the prestigious law school. While there, she struggles with peers, professors and her ex. With the support of some new friends, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19 – Callbacks, by invitation only Location: Cutting Hall, 150 E. Wood Street, Palatine; enter through lobby. Time: 7:00-10:00 p.m. Please be prepared to stay. Please bring 3 copies of the audition form, rehearsal calendar, headshot/resume.
