CHICAGO – In 1969, Christian Gospel artist Larry Norman declared “I Wish We’d All Been Ready”. Ready for what? The Rapture. “Left Behind: The Rapture Musical” is inspired by the best-selling series “Left Behind” by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. This eschatological episode takes place in a freshly raptured town. The residents must lean on each other and form unlikely friendships (and romances) in order to defeat the divine entities behind the disappearances, and preserve the world for the future!
John Timmers and Jess Alexander, the duo behind “PRIME DAY: An Amazonian Musical”, team up with Alex Madda to create this musical parody of biblical proportions. “Left Behind: The Rapture Musical” is directed by Sean Cusick and accompanied musically by the entire ensemble.
“Left Behind: The Rapture Musical” begins it run at the Annoyance Theatre & Bar on August 19th, 2018 at 8pm and runs through. Tickets are $12, $10 for students. Directed by Sean Cusick.
