Ten contestants. Four days. One truck.
From the lyricist of the Jeff Award winning production of High Fidelity, Refuge Theatre Project presents the Chicago premiere of Hands on a Hardbody!
Inspired by true events chronicled by the documentary of the same name, this 3 time Tony-nominated and infused with a “fresh root-rock vibe,” Hands on a Hardbody is a hilarious, hard-fought contest where only one winner can drive away with the American dream.
“You can hear the sound of America singing in this new musical… Hands on a Hardbody simply sings forth a story of endurance, hardship, and the dimming American dream.” – The New York Times
This marks the third collaboration between Director Christopher Pazdernik and Music Director Jon Schneidman at Refuge. They previously worked together on the Jeff-Award winning High Fidelity and last season’s Jeff-Award nominated Spitfire Grill. This show opens in March. Details are here.
