‘Steamworks’ returns to The Annoyance for New Year’s Eve performance

The popular Annoyance Theatre comedy “Steamworks: The Musical” is coming back for one night only to finish off 2017! Ring in the new year with the hilarious story of a wide-eyed young man who moves to the Windy City seeking love … when he stumbles into the legendary Boystown bathhouse, Steamworks. As our hero makes his way through the steamy labyrinth, his mind is blown by the colorful cast of characters who hang out there. Will he meet the man of his dreams? Or will all his hunky hopes disappear in a puff of bathhouse steam?

The New Years eve package includes the performance at 10pm and includes appetizers, desserts, and a champagne toast! Special ball dropping at midnight. Come kick off the new year with us!

“Steamworks: The Musical will feature new music specifically added for the New Year’s Eve presentation.  Directed by Mike Gifford and Music Direction by Stephanie McCullough of the MCL, this diverse and talented cast will please both your eyes and your ears. “Steamworks the Musical!” is partnered with Steamworks Baths.

The special New Year’s Eve event begins on 12/31 with doors opening at 8pm and the performance beginning at 10pm on The Annoyance Theatre’s Mainstage, 851 Belmont. Tickets for the evening’s event are $40 and include a ticket to the show, a midnight champagne toast, appetizers, deserts and special ball dropping at midnight.
